Tour Timeline

         Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi Airport.
  • Arrive at Nairobi Airport and your Gonya Safaris Driver or guide will pick you up to transfer you at your preferred hotel and as well briefing you about our 11 days Kenya-Tanzania safari.

  • Day 2 : Morning game Drive in Lake Nakuru.

    An early morning pick up then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley most famous Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive and also check in at the hotel and enjoy to watch plenty of wildlife such as Rhinos, Buffaloes, and may other animals except elephants. You will as well watch abundant of birdlife. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

  • Day 3 : We transfer to Masai Mara. And evening game drive.

    An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have evening game drive.

  • Day 4 : Day Full Game Drive.
    After breakfast we shall have an early morning and afternoon game drive in Masai Mara which is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries. Currently, the most frequented game reserve in Kenya. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebras that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the “big five” but by chance you can also observe baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal and cheetah, hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or lodge.
  • Day 5 : Transfer to Nairobi. Skyscraper, Giraffe Center and Carnival festival.

    After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will transfer you to Nairobi for a city tour, the places of interest like the parliament buildings, Mausoleum of Jomo Kenyatta to mention but a few and also go for skyscraper, The Giraffe Centre which is the creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. The main purpose is to educate citizens and youth on their country’s wildlife and environment, as well as give local and international visitors an opportunity to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe. Then after go for the carnival festival as well as having lunch and refreshment. Nairobi Carnival festival is a wonderful carnival-style initiative. The first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name Kenya is not necessarily carnivals, but yes, the Kenya Carnival is a reality and has been the result of a recent project.

  • Day 6 : Transfer to Amboseli and evening game drive.

    Early Morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park, upon arrival, check in at your hotel, for refreshment and lunch. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive to spot some huge population of elephants with impressive tusks. While on the game drive you will enjoy sights of animals like lions, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, hartebeests, elands, antelopes and many bird species. Amboseli National Park is situated in south of Nairobi, Most of the park consist of a dry ,ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area there is a number of small ,rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

    Day 7 : Morning game drive then transfer from Kenya to Tanzania.

    Arise early and head to Amboseli for a morning game drive to be able to see some animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive. After the game drive then head back to the hotel for breakfast and after sign out then embark on our transfer to Tanzania. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

    Day 8 : Visiting Bushmen.

    Today will be a very special and different day. You will wake up very early, just before sunrise, and follow your guide until he finds the Bushmen tribe, one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa. After some explanations about the tribe, you will join them in their daily morning activities. This experience is out of the beaten track and does not feel touristic by any means. The photographic opportunities are out of this world. Making some stopover for lunch and refreshment. The experiences you do with the tribe can either be joining the men in their daily hunting, or the women in their fruit gathering session. In either of them, you will learn about many aspects of the Bushmen’s way of living. After finishing the activities with the tribe, we will visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a season shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and then return back to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

    Day 9 : Transfer to Central Serengeti then evening Safari.

    After an early breakfast, With Picnic Lunches drive to Serengeti National Park the most famous National park in the World. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. "Endless plains, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park. Then return back to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

    Day 10 :Full day game drive.

    Have breakfast at the camp than you will depart for full day game drives in Serengeti while as having a break for lunch at the hotel in the afternoon or you can carry packed lunch with you and spend the whole day in the park enjoying wildlife and nature. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park. Evening proceed to your hotel for leisure, dinner and overnight.

    Day 11 :Morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater then departure.

    Very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After head back to the hotel for lunch and refreshment then check out and depart to the airport to catch our flight back home.
