You will have the full day with the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience as well as get to enjoy beautiful Mountain Gorilla. Tour Timeline

  • Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park in Fort Portale

    You will be picked up by your driver / guide for the safari. As always it’s better to start the journey early to get you to your destination on time for the various activities you will be participating in, and while on the way there will be an optional stopover for Lunch.

    Then in the evening we do Bigodi swamp walk an area for bird watching and also have an optional visit to craft or gift shop for those interested in art pieces, you may even want to buy a little souvenir and gifts for family and friends back home. Then later drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience ( CHEX )

    You will be having an early breakfast and head to Kanyanchu for briefing 30 minutes prior to your activity which will start at exact given time. You will literally be following the 7 primate safari. This is also an amazing activity for bird watchers because Kibale is one of the National Parks that is blessed with a wide variety of different bird species as you do your habituation with the chimpanzees, chances are you will get to see different bird species. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

  • Day 3: Early Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Since this is always a fully packed day, we start-off the day with a morning game drive in Kasenyi with spotting of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs etc.

    We then return to the hotel at 10:00 am, relax for an indefinitely short period of time, and then get to your evening 2 hours boat ride on the Kazinga Channel with lots of birds near the fishing village.

    Return for an evening game drive then for your relaxation and dinner plus overnight at your lodge.

  • Day 4: Game Drive in the Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi

    The game drive will be done quite early in the morning so make sure you wake up in time before we set off for the game drive around 6:30 am, this being a good time to see various animals getting up from their slumber and starting their day. You should have your coffee / tea before you begin game drive to sort of wake you up. Later after the game drive, you will drive back to your safari lodge for your full breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive straight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you will arrive in the late evening and check into your booked safari lodge. You will have a relaxed evening. Dinner and overnight.

  • Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park

    You will have an early breakfast and driven to the briefing point where you will get some briefing 30 minutes before your scheduled tracking time which is normally 8:00 am. In addition to your packed lunch, you must carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick.

    Gorilla tracking is enriching and rewarding as you walk through the thick rain forest seeing the unique vegetation and different bird species. You will head back to the safari lodge and get some rest. Dinner with overnight.

    Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

  • Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi

    You will enjoy sight-seeing at Lake Bunyonyi found in Kabala which is the second deepest lake in Africa and a great place for birders. You will be welcomed by the sweet sounds of the birds, the word Bunyonyi means Small birds in the local language. You will go for a canoe trip on the lake whereby you will be able to see various birds, communities, landforms such as the islands around 29 islands are in the lake, as well as go for a community/nature walk through the Batwa and Abaheesi communities. Take as much photographs as you can. After the canoe, head back to the hotel for relaxation, swimming, dinner and overnight.

  • Day 7 : Transfer from Lake Bunyoyi to Kampala / Entebbe

    Have breakfast and thereafter embark on the return trip back to / Entebbe. Making a stopover for Lunch. Then a second stop over at the Uganda equator a few facts about the equator, and finally, proceed to the final destination of either the hotel or airport. End of your Uganda primates Safari
